How We Got Here

RetailNext was founded by engineers during their tenure at Cisco Systems. They recognized that to stay competitive with e-commerce providers, brick-and-mortar retailers need business intelligence tools dedicated to in-store analytics. Having developed advanced solutions for a number of other industries at Cisco, the team applied their years of experience to creating an analytics platform that would address the needs of retailers around the world.

In 2007, RetailNext (formerly BVI Networks) established its headquarters in San Jose, California. We’ve received the support of talented professionals from proven technology companies such as Google, Oracle, Salesforce, Cisco, Motorola, IBM, Symantec, Intel, VeriSign, Palm Computing, and Accenture.
